The new song is a cover from the song “Goodbye” from Apparat, the intro of Netflix’s massive series “DARK”.
Goodbye is the third single this year from Tragul, the melodic metal project created at the end of 2016 by Adrian Benegas, a keyboardist, and composer from Paraguay. He uses studio musicians for the recordings and so far the band released 4 singles in 2017 and three in 2018. According to Adrian Tragul will continue with releasing singles instead of a complete album, every three months a new single should be released. We got already Before I Say Goodbye in April, My Last Words in June and now Goodbye.
The line-up for Goodbye is Zuberoa Aznárez (Vocals), Adrian Benegas (Keyboards), Steve Conley (Guitars), Diego Bogarín (Guitars), Oliver Holzwarth (Bass) and Sander Zoer (Drums).
Tragul comments: It’s a song with a deep sense of calmness; with a conceptual, minimal, and a darker mood than TRAGUL’s listeners are used to. But it’s a song that can be enjoyed at the top, or as pleasant background listening mood, or at the same time as a deeply immersive experience. Haunting pianos and distant guitars sounds produce a stunningly dark yet uplifting sound that truly shines. Each instrument has its own identity, and at the same time all constituting a unique gloomy atmosphere.
One might never think that listening to a singer like Zuberoa Aznarez with an insane vocal range and powerful operatic voice, would seduce you with a whispery and very softer vocals like on this cover, proof of a voice that mesmerizes with its versatility and surprises with her high musical standard.
